When you’ve been looking forward to starting a blog for a while but you’ve found yourself postponing its commencement due to a little ‘first post’ trepidation. After all, this first post should ideally set the tone for what’s to follow. Oh the (self inflicted) pressure. Should the content be thought provoking? Inspiring? And then come the big questions – will anyone read it?! And how can it be different to the sea of blogs already in existence?

As I sat trying to craft the perfect opening line, I decided to stop over thinking and just go with it. So, if you aren’t a member of my immediate family who is absolutely obligated to read this, thanks so much for popping by.

Here is a little about me – a detail oriented, lover of simplicity and minimal design. I relish finding beauty in the ordinary and in all the delicious hidden details. I adore working with beautiful tones and textures and constantly seek out good design. I am drawn to Scandinavian and pared back aesthetics and have a thing for dried gum leaves. I’m a mum of two and wife to one. I love a good perfume, peonies, and strong coffee. My other loves include linen sheets, wrapping paper and ribbon, layering (anything), coffee table books and changing into my pjs at the end of a long day. Oh and I may also have a cushion addiction.

This space is where I will share interiors, style, design and imagery. A collection of styling tips, my work, life, exciting new brands, products, and travel. From the highly coveted to the easily accessible; if I love it I’ll share it with you, and most importantly tell you where to find it.
